Inspiration on YouTube

I want to give a shout out to some of the photographers that inspire me on YouTube today. I find that hearing others talk about their process shooting images and seeing how they go about things are really inspirational, so here’s some people that are worth checking out.

  1. Thomas Heaton

I’ve been subscribing to his videos for a while, and I really like his way of telling stories about his images as he shoots them. Picking up tips and tricks is one thing, but what I really like is how he goes through what it is about a composition that catches his eye and makes him want to shoot it. Here’s a video he made visiting northern parts of Norway.

2. Simon Baxter

This guy just started posting videos on YouTube. But if the rest of them are half as nice as the two first, this is a guy to keep subscribing to. He’s got marvellous woodland shots, and has a really nice way of putting together a story around his photoshoots.

3. Ben Horne

Ben Horne shoots different locations than the two first guys on this list because he’s from the US, not the UK. I especially like the series of posts from Zion fall 2016.

So yes, that’s my list for now. I have been waiting to find some women on YouTube who’s into landscape, adventure, outdoorsy photography, but I haven’t found them yet. If you know of someone, please let me know in the comments section below!
