Who am I as a photographer?

I’ve asked myself who I am so many times (trying to answer some of it here and here), but it has always been a more open question than the one I’ve asked myself lately. Who I am as a photographer is more difficult for me to answer than the more open and general “Who am I?”.
I think we all want acknowledgement for our skills or our aesthetic as photographer, and therefore in this social media driven world we tend to share the things we know will make people hit the like or subscribe button. I’m no different. I’ve even shot images differently than I would have if I was to follow my own taste, because I knew that shooting in another way would get more likes.
But I’ve come to learn that not being true to my own taste actually kills the joy of photography for me. So I’ve gone through my images lately and asked myself is this me. Do I see my style, my taste, me, in this image?
Today I’ve done  a lot of changes to my portfolio. I’ve removed some images that I know are fine, but that just doesn’t represent my style. I’ve added some that I really like, but have been unsure if are good enough or mainstream enough. I’ve tried to make a more honest and representative portfolio, one that shows who I am as a photographer, what my style is.
I hope you all like the images, but no matter how you find them, I know they represent me. And I’m proud of them. They answer my question. Based on the updated portfolio and my latest slideshow; who do you think I am as a photographer?
